Another option would be to have it convert only boar to 4f and cattle to 5f,
so it's more of a variation on the normal animal conversion rates.
It might be more powerful, but it also doesn't let you
get the early sheep pile-up advantage.

I like the restriction of forcing you to cook them immediately. tacticus

If people like this card, then please reconsider your votes to my old card here that got shot down:

I didn't know you had the "Hunter" idea before--
but I think this goes more along with the theme of hunting.

I voted yes for the previous card, but I prefer jamaicanworm's version. tacticus

Do you think jamaicanworm's card needs some sacrifice? chris

If you think it's too strong, I think jamaicanworm's proposed edit would also work for me.

Personally, I think it's ok. In most (but not all) situations it would be better than than the Butcher, but the Butcher is awful (except in 2p). I like the restriction it comes with currently: makes you reconsider the automatic "save one sheep in my house" and greatly reduces its usefulness late in the game, when other cards might let you feed off of breeding.

Agreed--I think this version is the most interesting. jamaicanworm

so you can only choose to kill your animal when you receive it but not those in your farmyard right?
interesting...
