Whenever you receive animals outside the Breeding phase of a Harvest, you may immediately convert them into Food. Take 2/3/4 Food for each Sheep/Wild boar/Cattle converted. [View playtest games] [View all dealt games] |

so it's more of a variation on the normal animal conversion rates. It might be more powerful, but it also doesn't let you get the early sheep pile-up advantage. |
Another option would be to have it convert only boar to 4f and cattle to 5f,Oct 3, 2010 10:51pm [quote] (Edit: Oct 3, 2010 10:51pm) |

I like the restriction of forcing you to cook them immediately. | Oct 4, 2010 5:57am [quote] |

If people like this card, then please reconsider your votes to my old card here that got shot down:Oct 4, 2010 9:14am [quote] |

but I think this goes more along with the theme of hunting. |
I didn't know you had the "Hunter" idea before--Oct 4, 2010 9:21am [quote] |

I voted yes for the previous card, but I prefer jamaicanworm's version. | Oct 4, 2010 2:11pm [quote] |

Do you think jamaicanworm's card needs some sacrifice? | Oct 4, 2010 7:36pm [quote] |

Personally, I think it's ok. In most (but not all) situations it would be better than than the Butcher, but the Butcher is awful (except in 2p). I like the restriction it comes with currently: makes you reconsider the automatic "save one sheep in my house" and greatly reduces its usefulness late in the game, when other cards might let you feed off of breeding. |
If you think it's too strong, I think jamaicanworm's proposed edit would also work for me. Oct 4, 2010 8:11pm [quote] (Edit: Oct 15, 2010 8:35am) |

Agreed--I think this version is the most interesting. | Oct 4, 2010 8:14pm [quote] |

so you can only choose to kill your animal when you receive it but not those in your farmyard right?Oct 30, 2010 3:44am [quote] |
