G2occ-3Resource LenderWhenever you receive Building resources from an Action space, instead of placing them in your supply, you may add 1 resource of 1 type received and place them all on the next Round spaces with 1 per space (in any order and discard any excess). I agree. I am only worried that it might be too weak. What about same amount plus 2? hala

I thought it can be too strong! First of all, the distribution is not obligatory, so if you need the resource in a hurry, you can choose not to do it. It will be very helpful in collecting Wood for fences. Furthermore, you can use this to easily get 4 reeds in stage 1 by stepping on the reed space twice, which is a game changer in 3 player. colby

I think it deserves testing at its current power. I doubt that it is too strong. tacticus

I think it is one of the best proposed ideas. Playing it in R1 and then taking 1r+1r is not bad at all. But the card will still be weak. All the other resources you need them asap. During the last rounds you can't use the card at all. You may strenghten it up by saying:

Whenever you receive building resources from an action space, you may add one more such resource and distribute them on the next round spaces (one/round). If you take different resources, add just one, at your choice. At the start of the rounds, you receive the resource.

I proposed two changes:
- give up "one kind", so that action spaces affected by wood distributor or potter's wife (and also RSF) can benefit.
- give up "accumulative" so that RSF and other non-accumulatie spaces that carry resources as a result of Potter's wife or Forewoman can also benefit.

Hala, how would your edit work on RSF, exactly?

There are three ways I could see it working:

a) Distribute Reed, Stone and Food over 4 spaces in any order, with one additional Reed or Stone.
b) Distribute Reed and Stone over 3 spaces in any order, with one additional Reed or Stone. Receive the food immediately.
c) Distribute Reed or Stone over 2 spaces, with one additional resource of that type. Receive the other resource and the food immediately.

Ignoring Hala's proposed edit, how does this idea interact with other cards that trigger when you take resources? For instance, if I have Mortgage Maker and Woodcutter and take 3w, may I take 1w immediately and distribute 4 over the next 4 Rounds? If I have Mortgage Maker and Mushroom Collector, and take 3w, may I leave 1w on the space for 2f, then distribute 3w over the next 3 spaces?

My idea was your option b).

For your second question, if I were to answer, I would interpret the card like this: you may place any amount of building resources on the coming round spaces instead of taking them immediately on your farm, then add one. So, if you should take home 4w (as a result of Woodcutter), you may choose to place 5w on the board. If you have Mushroom and should otherwise take 2w 2f, you place 3w on the coming round spaces and receive 2f immediately.

If the card works on rsf, it will be well balanced. Normally you don't need both reed and stone immediately, and having one more of those is cool. But having 5w over 5 rounds instead of 4w immediately is not a good deal, even if I could do it for free (without spending an action first).

I think this card can easily give you enough Reed for two rooms built in Stage 2, and it can combo with other Reed cards. It the player is targeting two rooms, distributing the wood on the next 4/5 is ok. This card is actually strong to take less amount of resource and get the benefit, matching up with players using their first peep to get resource.

For Woodcutter the extra Wood is also distributed, and for Mushroom Collector to take 3w, the result would be 1w on the space for 2f and 3w on the next 3 round spaces. But it kinda got chaotic if I can receive clay by taking wood or receive reed by fishing...

I think strengthening rsf or rsw with this card is overpowering. Rsf/rsw is a strong point itself.

I'm not sure of a way to write it to make it clear that your intent is to distribute goods received from cards as well as the goods actually on the space.

I also think this is currently too easily neutered by Wood Distributor. I think you're right that the best use of this would be to get extra reed. Wood Distributor could completely eliminate this ability.

While I agree with hala that this could be ok even if it worked with RSF, I think at minimum you should be allowed to distribute any accumulating resources, whether or not you receive another resource from the space.
