I think "Bankstein" is (a kind of) "grinding block". Though I like the banking interpretation... |

It should say "Stone Accumulation space", else the RSW space from 5-player game would work with this card. Purchases is no Agricola term, it should be Improvements. And i would add a few words for clarity. Whenever you take Stone from a Stone Accumulation space, you may take 1 Stone only and leave the rest (if any). Place this Stone on this card. The Stone cost of all Improvements is reduced by the number of Stone on this card for you. |

Does the German say "Improvements"? Does the German allow you to get discounts on Stone rooms? Or just Major and Minor Improvements? | Oct 31, 2010 8:32pm [quote] |

"jeder Anschaffung" = every improvement. No rooms. | Oct 31, 2010 10:53pm [quote] |

Whenever you take Stone from a Stone Accumulation space, you may take 1 Stone only and place it on this card. Leave any remaining stone. The Stone cost of all Improvements is reduced by the number of Stone on this card for you. Trying to remove the minor ambiguity of 'this stone" in the second sentence of the current text. ( Because the stone that you leave is not taken into your personal supply, maybe the stone that is left is the stone that goes onto this card?) |

For you, the Stone cost of all Improvements is reduced by the number of Stone on this card. I dont think 'for you" at the end of the sentence works. ( I hope I'm not being too fussy for everyone: but my RL games group hates having arguments about what cards mean. It gets in the way of gameplay) |
I think I would change the second sentence in my suggestion a bit:Nov 24, 2010 6:13pm [quote] |

I don't think you can be too fussy about language. The clearer, the better! | Dec 1, 2010 2:21pm [quote] |
