As a passing minor, it should say "you immediately receive 1 Grain and 1 Vegetable". | Oct 31, 2010 3:58pm [quote] |

Check out the EIK passing minors, they don't use immediately if you receive Goods. They only use immediately if you receive actions. I think "When you play this card" lets people already now when they'll get the goods. | Oct 31, 2010 8:41pm [quote] |

Yeah, i remember you brought that up. And its a good catch. But that was not the only reason i came up with the ruling. Check out my complete answer in that thread i made up on the board during the G-deck translation: http://play-agricola.com/forums/index.php?topic=1951.msg13961#msg13961 And maybe you can answer in the thread what you think about it. |

Randomly? It will frankly be easier to resolve this one online than in face to face games. I don't like that it will randomly effect some players more than others. I'd rather players place 2 on 2 unused spaces of their choice. This may create a marker crunch, but it could also create boards filled with poppies. Probably some clarification that the green arrows still count as unused spaces for scoring. | Nov 2, 2010 12:58am [quote] |

I like the card. (It needs "1 unused space" as prereq, I think) |
It's easy enough in face to face games to. If you have X unused spaces, take X-1 reed tokens, 1 stone token, and drop them (unseen of course) from your hand on each space. The space with the stone gets the green arrow.Nov 2, 2010 10:56am [quote] (Edit: Nov 2, 2010 10:57am) |

it seems the best time to play this is with 1 space left open. |
can you fence, covering many spaces at once, including the poppy field? or must you cover everything prior to covering the poppy field. is the poppy field spot considered used or unused?Nov 2, 2010 11:27am [quote] |

I would think that you can not fence all other unused spaces and the poppy field in 1 fence action. Else it wouldnt be that big a potential drawback. And at 1g and 1v for free, the drawback should be potentially big. |
The space is still considered unused. Our translation is a bit unclear in that regard, 1-1 the german says "This space has to remain unused until..."Nov 2, 2010 11:51am [quote] |
