At the end of the game, you receive 1 and a half Bonus points for each room in your Stone house rounded down and your negative points are doubled. (This also applies to Begging cards.) [View playtest games] [View all dealt games] |

Are any of the German names exactly copies of previous German names? I can't tell from the English translations. | Nov 1, 2010 9:50am [quote] |

What counts as negative Bonus points? This seems like it might be balanced if it means ALL of your negatives. | Nov 2, 2010 4:59pm [quote] |

So it's all minus points. |
Better translation: "for every minus point, you receive an additional minus point, that is added to the bonus points".Nov 2, 2010 5:06pm [quote] |

We need to be careful not to double the Minus points from this card. Rules Question: Do the rules refer to negative Bonus points as Minus points? |

This is an interesting idea. However, I think it is too easy and desirable already to avoid negative points and build a 5-stone house, in which case this card nets you 10 points!! for 1 action! It also has the effect of making every stone room you have beyond 5 into an effective 5 points (1 for a used space, and 4 for the room)! Far too powerful, as is, IMO, especially in a solo game. | Nov 2, 2010 6:04pm [quote] |

In real games, I think it's an interesting balance. Chief and the other big-stone-house cards often get played with an unbalanced farm. This could be worse than Chief in many situations. The most frequent situation in which it would be really broken is when you have 4 stone rooms and no negatives. |
I don't think you really need to balance things for solo. Sure, it will add more points to the Giant Stone House maxing strategy, but it doesn't really change anything.Nov 2, 2010 6:31pm [quote] |
