Cost=1C, Vps=1, Prereq=none If you play this in Round 6 or before, place 1 Vegetable on the space for Round 8. At the start of this round, you receive the Vegetable. [View playtest games] [View all dealt games] |

Add 5 to the current round. At the start of that round, you receive 1 vegetable. Or something like that. Compare to Greenhouse. |
I'd rather see this require some time to grow, like:Oct 31, 2010 3:38am [quote] |

i thought about that. but one reason was that i did not want it to be so similar to existing cards. another was, that if you have to wait it will often get played just in time to receive a vegetable for scoring. this is what i did not want. i wanted a card that does give VP, but is played early. | Oct 31, 2010 4:13am [quote] |

I wonder if they should pay 1 Food for the Vegetable. 1 VP for 2 Clay is already nice. | Oct 31, 2010 10:46am [quote] |

I propose to change the cost to 3c. I think 2c for 1p and 1v is too cheap. | Nov 1, 2010 2:02am [quote] |

Or make it cost 1c and not give a VP. |
I agree with hala that the card is too cheap right now. Nov 1, 2010 2:37am [quote] |

my initial intention was to make it cost 1c only. i don't think i would play this if it cost 3c. in the early game, this one VP doesn't really matter. but 3c can. many cards cost no resources and give you a VP. how about 1 occupation requirement instead? if you really think it should be more expensive i can change it. playtesting may tell us more, though i would rather prefer to have it overpowered at first and balance later than the other way round. because if its underbalanced people will just never play it. |
are you sure? i would agree if it could be played late, but it cannot. 2 clay in the early or mid-game. that's the same needed for a FP or to get a CH instead of the FP, or half the amount needed for renovation. 3c is almost a full action.Nov 1, 2010 7:10am [quote] (Edit: Nov 1, 2010 7:22am) |

I think it's ok at 2 clay. Compare with Granary. | Nov 1, 2010 6:05pm [quote] |

and granary gives you 3 grain, not just 1. | Dec 16, 2010 6:23am [quote] |

I think this is a simple and very nice card. | Dec 21, 2010 11:15am [quote] |
