just a quibble on flavor: there were no diamond mines in the scope of the game-time. Gemstone Mine would probably be better. | Aug 16, 2010 2:35pm [quote] |

I think glen has a point. This one is also significantly stronger than Muddy Bog, Driftwood, or Reed Pond. I think it could be bumped to 4 occs. | Aug 18, 2010 8:42am [quote] |

i agree it's stronger than the other cards you listed, but i'm not sure it's a problem. Fruit tree is stronger than Goose Pond (7food vs 4food) for the exact same prereq and points. i'm certainly will to up the prereq if that's the consensus. this was discussed some already prior to the create a card site existing without much resolution. that was prior to the existence of Muddy Bog and Driftwood. | Aug 19, 2010 1:58am [quote] |

You can't compare fruit tree to goose pond: goose pond can provide you earlier food if you played 3 early occs, while fruit tree only provide you food for the later half of the game. RE: wood collector vs wood deliveryman | Aug 19, 2010 3:10am [quote] |

RE: wood collector vs wood deliveryman of course, but i'd still argue fruit tree is considerably better. or at least for my play style it is, since i'm rarely playing 3 early occs. and of course you can compare them. in fact, you just did. |

i think it's enough, and well in flavor, to say 'the next three even round spaces'. it takes time to find those gems, yo! 4occs is rough, IMO. | Aug 19, 2010 8:41am [quote] |

4 occs would be rough, for sure. If it did go to 4 occs, it would probably need a second bonus point. It's very strong now though. | Aug 19, 2010 11:51am [quote] |

i sortof like then next 3 even round space idea, or similarly an add 1, 3, 5 to the current round. waiting to hear other thoughts... | Aug 20, 2010 10:57pm [quote] |

i like both | Aug 21, 2010 3:10am [quote] |
