It's a "stuck cart". I don't see the food cost on the German card. Is it part of the cost there? http://www.kunst-fuer-alle.de/english/art/artist/image/peter-paul-rubens/6193/130/160086/das-festgefahrene-fuhrwerk |

Uwe writes the food cost in the top right corner, but my interface can't do that. | Nov 4, 2010 10:50pm [quote] |

The cost is "1 NW pro Per-son* in deiner Wohnstatte" | Nov 5, 2010 2:29pm [quote] |

When this card says "not starting player," what exactly does that mean? Does it mean you do not currently have the starting player marker, or does it refer to who was starting player this round? | Nov 12, 2010 2:18pm [quote] |

This is still a pretty strong card to play when you go second. |
That's a good question. I would assume it means not starting player this round. Otherwise, with your First action you could play this and place of all of your people before anyone else places one.Nov 12, 2010 4:47pm [quote] |

Actually, either meaning would block that move chris: if you are starting player this round, you'll have the starting player marker at the start of the round. | Nov 12, 2010 6:39pm [quote] |

can you play this on the SP spot? i suspect not? | Nov 13, 2010 6:33pm [quote] |

I think you can. Since you can do the actions in either order, you can play the minor, then take starting player. | Nov 13, 2010 9:48pm [quote] |

Quote from: tacticus on Nov 13, 2010 9:48pm I think you can. Since you can do the actions in either order, you can play the minor, then take starting player. Yes. The reason for the prereq is that placing all of your family members before any other player is too strong. But what if you have Taster, or Coffee House(?). Maybe the card should say "You cannot play this card in a round in which you placed the first family member." This changes the card, so should perhaps be suggested to Uwe. |
