A You can also play this card using an action space in the usual way.
B If you play the Chief yourself, you may not play the Chief's Daughter at the same time. [ref]
C In a solo game, you can only play this card using an action space.
D If you have the Clogs as well, you get points for both cards.
E If you play the Chief's Daughter because the Chief is played, this activates the Bread Paddle, Bookshelf, Patron, and Educator, but not the Writing Desk, Perpetual Student, or Therapist.
