How does this interact with cards that discount Occupation costs, like Golden Rose? On the one hand, you could argue that if I have this card in play and I pay less for the Occ, the person on Fishing gets no extra food. But that creates problems with a card like Working Gloves. If I have Working Gloves, and I pay a Clay instead of food for the occ, now what? Surely the person taking Fishing doesn't get a Clay. So I don't think the idea of Fisherman's Apprentice is that whatever its owner plays for the Occ is what the person on Fishing receives, because that creates potentially strange interactions when occs are discounted in various ways. But if it doesn't work that way, is food just being given out from nowhere? I'm really unsure about this one and don't think there's an absolute correct answer. So let's try to get a community consensus? How does this interact with cards that discount Occupation costs, like Golden Rose? I'm ok with that interpretation (whatever you pay goes to the Apprentice including if you pay nothing) But I'm also ok with "Whenever another player uses the Fishing action space that player receives 1 food and you may pay 1 good to play an occupation" being the new text.
