You may only build 12 fences. (Remove the other 3 fences from the game.) Whenever you build fences you may build 2 fences for every 1 Wood paid. [View playtest games] [View all dealt games] |

Interesting idea, but underpowered. Compare directly to Wood Collector. | Jul 22, 2010 5:27pm [quote] |

You can play it in round 14 and immediately save 5w. I like it | Jul 23, 2010 1:52am [quote] |

If you play it in Round 14, you may not get a chance to save any wood at all. I think it's weak. limiting to 10 fences is a significant drawback. 5w is a relatively average payout for an occupation (and this isn't 5w, it's a 5w discount for fences, which is less). Average payout + significant drawback = weak. Compare also to Sawhorse, which gives the same discount, without the drawback. | Jul 23, 2010 6:43am [quote] |

You can change it to "You can only build 12 fences. You can pay 1 Wood for every 2 Fences built". | Jul 27, 2010 11:26pm [quote] |

I updated the card to 12 fences. | Jul 28, 2010 10:38am [quote] |

Bumping it to 12 switches my vote to yes. | Jul 28, 2010 10:44am [quote] |

This card worked well with my limited resources last game. I was able to build 12 fences with 6 Wood. The "only 12 fences" is certainly a handicap. I only had a 3 room house, and no plows, so i really felt this sacrifice. I think with this card you need a bigger house and more plowed fields. | Aug 28, 2010 3:15pm [quote] |

(including Fence Builder, May Pole, Vitner, etc) or it's only refering to fences which form pastures on your farm? |
12 fences limit applies to all physical usage of the fences?Sep 1, 2010 9:01am [quote] |

I hadn't thought about that. What should it do? As its written it limits "building". Are the examples you give "building"? | Sep 1, 2010 4:07pm [quote] |
