I dont see this as being too strong unless you have easy access of stone near the beginning of the game, but to have that usually is an occupation/minor improvement or two, so i guess you would be spending a decent number of actions to get get the early well and this anyways... however as for suggestion 4, being able to at any time convert to food... i think thats too powerful, its just too much food in the bank you can withdraw at any-point, and near guarantees that someone with this card never receives a begging card... whereas otherwise they have to plan ahead and maybe turning that Well into food is something they will regret later. davidcourtney

Yeah, the "Return" cards would make this pretty great. For that matter, you can always use it with an early Fireplace and return that later for a Hearth. tacticus
