Back Door (minor) Cost=none, Vps=0, Prereq="Family growth" action is revealed Immediately place a person that is not already placed on an Action space on the "After Family Growth also 1 Minor Improvement" Action space even if it is occupied by you or another player and take that action. This card is designed to lubricate the log jam at Family Growth that occurs in four player games. All puns are intentional. This is my attempt to create a card that mitigates WHE and the cards like it. |

| Can you play this card on FG for a double grow? That would be pretty strong. | Dec 16, 2010 11:03am [quote] |

First, I agree with Chris that this should be limited to avoid double growth. Second, there isn't really a need for "immediately," is there? Could the language follow the patter of HotF, but with a "Until the end of this Round" restriction? |

Ok I'll change the language to "occupied by another player". It still seems like it would be hard to create a situation where you build room for two more family members and can secure FG without the help of this card. As far as "immediately", don't you need the effect to happen immediately since it is a passing card? |

The standard for passing cards is not to write "When you play this card", just write: "You may immediately play a family member who has not already taken an action on the "After Family Growth also 1 Minor Improvement" action space even if it is occupied by another player's family member." |

Quote from: hala on Dec 16, 2010 1:15pm I don't see trey's point. Passing cards should act "immediately". Trey and you (Hala) are saying the same thing. His point is the same as your point which is that a passing card can't say "you may take 1 Food next round" since next round you will not have the card in front of you. This was Trey's response to Tact saying the effect could happen later in the round. |
