There are some similarities but also serious differences. In my card the fish do not breed but you need to take fishing to get fish to the pond. And those fish are food that you give up (you can't use it anymore). hala

Perhaps there are differences but if his idea was an existing card. Yours would be considered too similar to create. Both involve placing a "Fish Pond" on an unused space. Both involve putting Fish in the Pond only by taking Fishing. And both score VPs at the end of the game.

I like both ideas and would like to see something like this in G2 Deck, but with this one we will need to contact that BGG user and gets his OK.

It is not a published card, but a suggested (and publicly noted by being on BGG) game variant. Players suggest ways to modify Agricola on BGG in the forum section labeled "variants". One BGG user suggested adding a new card that lets you add Ponds to your farm.

I'm not saying we can't vote this card up and publish it. But we need to send that BGG uses an email asking if he wants his name on your idea if it gets selected. He gets first dibs. If he doesn't want his name on the card, then we would put your name on it.

But we wouldn't want to publish it with your name and then afterward, have someone posting on the internet that it is his idea. He would be able to show the date of his post and show that his date precedes the date of your post here.		 chris

And, what I want more, is to have the Chisel in the deck. And it's going thin by the moment. This makes me think about the emotions I had with my favorite from G1, Astronomer, that later proved to be very sucessful, if not in terms of seeing play, at least as getting good critic review. I see the same scenario aproaching with the chisel.		 hala
