Cost=1W, Vps=0, Prereq=none Each Work phase, the third person you place can use the "Plow 1 field" Action space even if it is occupied. [View playtest games] [View all dealt games] |

Good idea for a plow. | May 23, 2011 2:22am [quote] |

Changing it to "if you have 3+ family members, your last family member..." makes it a bit better, while remaining in flavor. | May 23, 2011 2:39am [quote] |

I disagree, I like it being explicitly a particular family member. I would prefer 2nd family member, however, just to keep the small family strategy open. (plus 2nd action is usually more of a sacrifice than 3rd action) | May 23, 2011 12:42pm [quote] |

Nice idea Hala! |
It has to be the 3rd for theme's sake. May 23, 2011 12:44pm [quote] |

But your 2nd-3rd action is much less likely to find "Plow 1 field" occupied as the game progresses | May 23, 2011 3:06pm [quote] |

How does this interact with Guest tokens? I've always felt that the original game was a little unclear on when they count as family members and when they don't. Can the occupant of the Reed Hut do this? Can I take "Plow 1 field" with my 1st and 3rd family members? I assume so. |
Novel, at least to me. I've seen cards that let first and last family members do things, but not the third. Not very powerful, but not very expensive either. I'll vote "yes."May 23, 2011 4:30pm [quote] |

Am I correct in thinking that this would activate the Punner? And that you are only "using" the plow if you take the Plow action when it is occupied? | May 23, 2011 7:18pm [quote] |

Great question Tacticus. I'll let the public (or pijll) answer to it. Also very interesting considerations by rhentzel. More work for pijll. The guests and reed hut guy are all tricky. As for "what if I use it with my first family member, can I do it again with my third"? I should add "even if it is already occupied by another player's family member". |
