Ken played this in a test game for G2 where I was also present. He had Sunrise herder and started with fences before room. He got this out early and he had another good card that went with the combo. Nevertheless he lost. hala

well that can happen but i agree i think its a little over powered 2 food i think would be fine then again if u have 6 animals early enough ure not looking for much food ruffles2

I don't know if 6 animals is the right threshold to be getting 3 food per round space, but it sounds close enough to be worth trying in a game. Building that much infrastructure really sets back one's family growth.

"Fodder" doesn't seem like the right name; what's the thematic connection? The animals eat fodder, but it seems like the sense of this card is that you're not eating the animals, so it doesn't matter how fat they might be.

no surprise if he started fences before room. this is a midgame card. even if you play it in round 11 it gives you 9 food. that's just ridiculous.

seems like this card should be called the "animal pen", not that card that gives 2 food per round space but has nothing to do with animals! nordenwatch

but then you have to play sheepdog, the worst card ever. anyhow, i like this but wonder if 3f/round isn't a bit much... but 2f/round isn't enough. you could do 5 every remaining even-numbered round? just a thought. i like cards that can reward someone for an 'extreme' early strategy. i actually think this card would have a really low winning percentage for what it's worth. glengarry

just looking at the played games list, this was played about in round 9-10 on average, which means 12-15 food. that's ridiculous for a 1w cost. even 8-10 food (2f/round) would be too much. letsdance
