sounds a bit overpowered. compare to other fishing cards (in general reed isn't more valuable than wood in my oppinion). | May 26, 2011 1:48am [quote] |

I based this on Canoe, replaced received reed with received wood (you collect wood stuck on the net), made it cost reed instead of wood and removed the point. I guess the cost could be higher if this version feels overpowered. | May 26, 2011 2:05am [quote] |

And that's me above for those who wonder... | May 26, 2011 2:06am [quote] |

with the 2r cost it looks better. i think you can remove the 1occ requirement. | May 26, 2011 4:06am [quote] |

personally, i think a cost of 1r and 2occs is appropriate. 2r is expensive. if you reject my proposal, at least put a point on it. | May 26, 2011 6:16am [quote] |

point sounds good. | May 26, 2011 6:40am [quote] |

I don't think a point makes much sense for this one. I understand points for stuff like canoe or raft but this is just a fishing tool like fishing rod or fish trap. I would prefer a cheaper price than a point. 1r and 1 or 2 occs was my original idea for a cost. | May 26, 2011 7:55am [quote] |

i think in that case you get your investment (1r) returned too quickly. you have a guaranteed 2f+1w action every round, or 3f+1w every 2nd round. that's quite powerful. but playtesting will tell us. i also think that w is better than the r that you get with canoe, because you need much more w than r. |
then change it back to 2occs, 1r and test it that way. May 26, 2011 8:27am [quote] |

There is no way that Reed is less valuable than wood through most of the game. How many times do you see 3 Reed on an action space in the first 3 stages? |
