If there are still 1/3/6/9 rounds to play, you immediately receive 1/2/3/4 Wood. At the end of the game, all players who harvest at least 5 goods during the final Harvest receive 3 Bonus points. [View playtest games] [View all dealt games] |

Also, is harvesting 5 fields too many? It could be dropped to 4 to make it easier. Field cards do count, however. |
Could this be 1+ instead of 3+? I'm thinking so as it's similar to Church Warden in giving all players a bonus rather than automatically giving one player a bonus.Jun 9, 2011 5:46pm [quote] |

you could make it "harvest 5 goods" to avoid many questions. i think 5 is a good number. | Jun 10, 2011 6:30am [quote] |

Thumb up. I also prefer "harvest 5 goods". | Jun 10, 2011 7:39am [quote] |

I updated this to 1+, as it us similar to Church Warden in that it is a bonus condition for all (or no) players. | Jun 14, 2011 6:44pm [quote] |

all of the 4/3/2/1 wood cards are too strong, so i will continue voting nay as long as new ones show up | Jun 14, 2011 8:20pm [quote] |

All 1/2/3/4 wood cards are the most pleasurable to play or have in a game. The only reason why we don't have more of them is because we already ran out of things to compete for. This card found a new competition so it has my full support. | Jun 15, 2011 12:53am [quote] |

I agree that the competition for the endgame victory points is a fun mechanic. Change the reward you get when you play the card and it would be fine. |
4 wood is way too much. All the 4/3/2/1 occs are top 20 occs, which is ridiculous.Jun 15, 2011 5:59am [quote] |

the problem is, if the reward is lowered no one would play it early. i'd rather take 3w with a wood action in the early game, and keep my vp card for later, to drop it in round 14, IF i am leading in that category. these cards must be better than other actions in the early game to be played early. | Jun 15, 2011 7:02am [quote] |

Here's one idea: instead of wood this card gives you a grain, and you may also immediately pay 2 (1?) food for a second grain. |
I am sure that people around here are creative enough to come up with a reward that is not unbalanced as 4w is. Grain lover was a failed attempt (the reward there is too good as well.)Jun 15, 2011 10:49am [quote] |
