Each time you play an Occupation, including this one, you may draw 2 new Minor Improvements and discard 1 Minor Improvement from your hand. (The discarded card doesn't need to be one you just drew) [View playtest games] [View all dealt games] |

[wiki: A broomsquire is someone who makes brooms for a living.] Previous was: You may immediately discard 3 minor improvements and draw 3 minor improvements. Any player may pay you 1 food and 1 wood to do this. You may return 1 wood to the supply to do this. |
I really like this name for an occ. Any ideas?Jun 9, 2011 1:14pm [quote] |

Still seems weak. What about letting you play a minor when you play this occ? | Jun 10, 2011 5:42pm [quote] |

how about you can discard 1 minor improvement to draw a new minor improvement, *which you may play immediately, paying the cost normally*. | Jun 11, 2011 8:36am [quote] |

I assume you are discarding unplayed minor improvements from your hand, rather than played ones. Is that the intent? |
I might go so far as to allow the player to draw two minor improvements and keep the one that he or she likes better.Jun 13, 2011 2:48pm [quote] |

I probably don't feel as vehement about this as letsdance, but, in my opinion, the card is better without that clause. |

I like the draw 2 keep 1 idea as well. | Jun 13, 2011 9:41pm [quote] |

Quote from: rhentzel on Jun 13, 2011 2:48pm I assume you are discarding unplayed minor improvements from your hand, rather than played ones. Is that the intent? Yes, rephrased. Also upped the power from "discard 1, draw 1" to "draw 2, discard 1 (the discarded card doesn't need to be one you just drew)"; changing the discard/draw order to avoid empty-hand drawing. |

It reminds me of something like Magic: The Gathering | Dec 31, 2011 6:40am [quote] (Edit: Dec 31, 2011 6:40am) |
