but maybe i'm wrong. if you just count the food gained it's not that much - the v similar to basket, the g similar to mushroom collector. if you count each g and v taken as a saved action, it's alot. lets test it. |
i don't like cards that add so much of something for everyone.Jun 23, 2011 9:53am [quote] |

keith, i shifted your picture down and to the right. I liked it, but we can't put that on a Agricola card. In the USA we never show breasts publicly in advertisements or TV. Whereas i know in Europe they do. | Jun 23, 2011 10:02am [quote] |

The thing is it redresses the balance by leaving wood on the action space for the next player. |

i understand that each player is receiving the equal/fair amount of benefit, but these equal benefit stand different meaning for each other players. for example, it help GREATLY to those who build room and have large family to growth, but have worthless to the people that doing early grain strategic. i think i can still give yes on this 1, but i wish not to see too much of these card in future. |
actually i like how this card work, but i still voted no on this 1.Jun 24, 2011 1:57am [quote] |

SS please change your vote to uncertain if you feel uncertain. Play testing will determine if this card is overpowered. My guess is that it is fine. |

Returning to our game, the card did not appear strong, but rather on the weak side. Keith baked a lot, but not enough for him to win. |
Keith played it today and used it several times for grain and once for veggie. As SS says, I was the owner of the sheep, so for me it was next to worthless, while for others it was much more important. But I don't see any problem in this. Almost all the cards that give effect to more than one people will create unavoidable unequality among the other players. For some the food is more important, for some it isn't. For example, when somebody plays Crier, the one that already has 5 grain is unimpressed, while the one that still has no grain and is about to play Constable may be extatic. But it's how things are supposed to be.Jun 29, 2011 2:00pm [quote] |
