the idea behind this card is to reimburst you for paying full price, but with a bit of effort. it doesn't reward you if you already have a lot of other discounters in play or if you have a way to substitute wood.

i agree with you, ss. i could change it to at the end of the round instead of the returning home phase to may it work with joinery/sawmill/cabinetmaker. perhaps i should since all the cards are weak imo.
also, i picked spending 6w and getting 2w using my plain old judgement. perhaps some other spend/receive ratio is better.

Yes, do it. I think 2w at the end of the round if you had used at least FIVE would be the right ratio to make the card appealing.
