Immediately after using the most recent Round card, you may play 1 Major or Minor Improvement. (Pay costs for the Improvement normally.) [View playtest games] [View all dealt games] |

Converts the newest action space into "After [whatever] also play 1 Major or Minor Improvement" (like reno+mimi) (and reno+mimi to reno+mimi+mimi) | Aug 12, 2011 2:13am [quote] (Edit: Aug 25, 2011 1:07am) |

Cards like this are great. Their power scales with the skill of its user. | Aug 12, 2011 8:27am [quote] |

Although, if it turns out to be too powerful, you might consider adding a food cost to playing a Major. | Aug 12, 2011 8:29am [quote] |

Updated text to avoid minor improvement action spaces shenanigans. | Aug 25, 2011 1:07am [quote] |

In fact it actually sounds like it makes one specific space on the board an additional Maj/Min spot for you - is that the intention? (I read it to mean if I play this in Round 1 then the Round 1 action space is now an additional Maj/Min spot for me; or if I play this in Round 5 then for the rest of the game the action space that came out in Round 5 is now a Maj/Min spot for me - is this right?) Or is it like Outrider? (in which case why don't you use the terminology of Outrider?) Or is it just a one-time use, and thus the use of the word "immediately"? (this was how I first understood the card) |
I saw this in a recent game and it wasn't clear to me what the intention of the card is.Jan 2, 2012 8:03pm [quote] |

I am not sure whether it is intentional, but the current text makes this card unworkable with Traveling Salesman and the like, right? | Jan 2, 2012 10:11pm [quote] |

http://www.play-agricola.com/Agricola/GameLogs/allturnserver.php?x=134354 I think it intended to be played similar to outrider. No one challenged my interpretation. This card is interesting as not only does it provide a "space" to play major/min when both sp and major/min are used, it also frees up actions that you might like to put a peep on major/min to build a major, while with adventurer, u can at least have a little more benefits! In that game, I bought all the 3 resources-eating majors within 2 rounds with adventurer! In which I can play craftsman afterwards and unitize it! I might buy well after taking 1s (round 10) from 1s space too! And, reno fence becomes reno-major/min-fence! This card is really interesting, but its power is all depending on your game plan over your minors in hand and majors. I would agree on dshin's comment that, better to "adding a food to playing a Major" while keeping free for minors. 1 food is not huge, but does make an impact! |

Fun Card. Definitely opens up taking 1S when it appears... seems to reduce stone a little bit for other players in that way. Used it 6 times, including 3 majors. | Oct 1, 2012 2:09pm [quote] |
