Trailblazer (occ-1+) At the start of each round, if you have no empty plowed fields on your farm, you may pay 1 Food to Plow 1 field.

This is a very interesting card. I like it a lot. It's got a similar flavor to my Stone Scavenger card, in that you can trigger a nice ability whenever a certain condition is met, but then the condition is broken by the trigger. More cards of that genre would be nice, as they require skill to maximize.

Replace "if all of your fields are sown" with "if you have no empty fields". As it is now, I don't know if it's triggered by zero fields. My variant is clearer, but still not 100% clear in case of cards like Apple tree or Corral, where the field is used but not for sowing.
Anyway great combo card for seed spreader.

Field cards do count, however. So if I Beanfield sown with a veggie and no plowed fields, then I can trigger the card.
I wonder if by the rules Acreage counts if only sowed with 1 grain. Is it two separate grain fields or 1 field that can be sown twice?Quote from: hala on Aug 16, 2011 2:21am

Also, in addition to Seed Spreader, this card finally gives a combo partner to that poor Irrigation Canal.

Obviously it would trigger for no fields at all if you used my text. But at least it's clear that it does. As it is now it's not clear.

[/quote] Okay. :) Thought I was missing something. Maybe it should allow your first field as well, though that's stronger than my original intent. But then again, a more accessible card is often a better one, so let's let it work.Quote from: hala on Aug 16, 2011 4:15am

i think if you want acreage & co to prevent this from triggering you should word it something like "if you have nothing where you could sow on". how about master forester?
