If you play this card in Stage 1, you immediately receive 6 wood. Whenever another player uses the "Traveling Player" action, you must pay him 1 Wood if you have any in your supply. [View playtest games] [View all dealt games] |

Ha Ha, interesting but i'd say too strong. | Sep 15, 2011 1:00pm [quote] |

If you want this to have a chance of making it you probably need to have a penalty for not paying wood if you have none. |
This card has no drawback in 3er, as TP doesn't exist there.Sep 15, 2011 4:50pm [quote] |

Schould be a 4+ card (no TP in 3er) | Sep 16, 2011 1:58am [quote] |

oops... changed that. I also think it is probably quite strong (depending much on other players tp occs). So maybe either add a penalty for not being able to pay (as itsaratio suggested) or give less wood (7 would have a nice correlation with borrower). | Sep 16, 2011 3:01am [quote] |

Maybe you would get 1 beggar card if you cannot pay him wood? ![]() |
Early 8 wood is overpowered, but it's really interesting.Sep 18, 2011 10:23am [quote] |

I changed it from 8w to 6w. This may equal the early boost vs. the low output at the end. |
How often is Tp taken in average per game? I say sth like 3-4 and up to 6 in a TP-combo game.Jan 5, 2012 9:55am [quote] (Edit: Jan 5, 2012 9:56am) |

This is a very interesting card. | Jan 5, 2012 11:01am [quote] |

EDIT: On the other hand, it works well with the current TP occupations. You monopolize the TP by Acrobat or something like that and this will become a 6 Wood move. |
It is an interesting and innovative way to design card. It also increase the interaction between players to some extent. Someone will certainly take TP when you play this in the first stage. 4 food and 1 Wood, why not?Jan 5, 2012 7:27pm [quote] (Edit: Jan 5, 2012 7:30pm) |

A person could take 2 Reed with 1 action, take TP with 3 Food in Round 3, and in Round 4, take SP and play this. They would be able to build a room in Round 5 and they would have 4 addition actions to do whatever in Stage 1. (This card also combos great with Farm School Graduate, Puppeteer, Job Seeker, G2 Minor Apprenticeship) |
It looks interesting but it may end up not being so and just being strong. Play testing will tell. A good player may be able to always have no Wood in their supply when the TP space has Food or always take the TP space themselves (with perhaps another TP combo).Jan 5, 2012 7:37pm [quote] |
