how early do you take stone in 3p games? often not before round 10 when you sometimes have 4 peeps already. 1f isn't so bad in the early game. and especially in the early game there aren't so many action spaces available, it's more likely to place two next to each other than in the later game. if this gives you 4f total it's already well above average. maybe a 3 occs requirement would be good to balance it better for all game sizes. it won't make a difference in 3p games, but you can't play it early in 4p games. btw, this increases power a bit, but i think it should be at the end of each work phase instead of at the end of each round. |

I had this and Overseer (which triggers in the same manner) and only got 4 or 5 food from it. (Played round 9 I think) It felt weak because I was sometimes doing suboptimal actions to activate this so I could "get my money's worth" so to speak. |

This card is very weak: Engagementring - ADP = 4.20 - Plays (9 / 33 = 27.3%) - Wins (1 / 9 = 11.1%) - PWR = 0.4 [1.7,0.0] [2.3,0.0] I think the cost should be changed from 1 Stone to 1 Clay. That will strengthen it AND make it more playable in 2-ER and 3-ER where Stone is rare. Also spending Clay for Food is more natural to Agricola. |
