Cost=2W, Vps=1, Prereq=none Add 4 and 7 to the current round and place 1 Wild boar on each corresponding Round space. At the start of these rounds, you can pay 1 Food to take the Wild boar. [View playtest games] [View all dealt games] |

looking for comments/votes. i do think this is slightly weaker than greenhouse. perhaps you shouldn't need to pay a food. | Nov 30, 2011 9:40pm [quote] |

i agree it's weaker. but greenhouse is well above average, so that's no problem really. maybe you should drop the occ requirement, so it could be played in round 1 with sp. | Dec 1, 2011 3:56am [quote] |

I would suggest you make it a Trap instead of a Boar Trap, which means what are placed on corresponding spaces are randomly decided. It seems more interesting to me. Thematically, a wild trap cannot guarantee what will be trapped. | Dec 1, 2011 11:35am [quote] (Edit: Dec 1, 2011 11:38am) |

But I think the lack of predictability will make better players who think many moves ahead less likely to play it. |

Selecting animals at random is also tricky if you have the animeeples. Random mechanics in Agricola are generally pretty rare and, aside from the Perpetual Student (which compensates with a known good payoff), I suspect most aren't all that well-liked. | Dec 1, 2011 2:30pm [quote] |

I prefer it as a boar trap, rather than a random trap. | Jan 31, 2012 3:34pm [quote] |

I like it. Greenhouse is playable card, so this is too. | Oct 5, 2012 5:07am [quote] |
