Here's the Occupation version of Turnip Field. It can help people get their crops growing early if they can get early Grain and Veg some other way. chris

Since Gardener is already an I deck card how about calling it Tenant Farmer? Fits the theme, pay 1 food for the right to use additional land. graywolf

Duh. That was pretty dumb of me.

makes early grain sowing a little too easy in my oppinion. i think it would be sufficient if it counts as 1 field. letsdance

Compare with WM = G2 Permaculturist. That card lets you Sow 13 fields in Stage 1 and its the weakest card:
113 out of 115 Permaculturist - 4.39 - Plays (39 / 136 = 28.7%) - Wins (6 / 39 = 15.4%) - (38.2) - (2.9) - PWR = 0.6

If someone wants to Sow early Grain, good for them. I don't think the current form of Master Gardener is too strong.

If this only let you sow 1 field's worth, then there'd be no point in playing this card vs. just plowing a normal field. derakon

Yes. I think this is a wonderful card. It gives people something else to consider doing besides just fighting for building the first room and growing first.

Without this card, I'd never consider plowing 2 fields, taking 2 grain, and Sowing. That's 5 actions. (I also won't take 1 Grain, plow 1 field, and Sow - 3 actions.) But with this card, I would consider taking Grain twice and then playing this.

I think a card that gives you the option to do something differently during Stage 1 is a great card.

Totally agree. However, I think it should be a 3+ or 4+ card.
