Cost=none, Vps=1, Prereq=1 planted field Whenever you pay Food to play an Occupation or a Minor Improvement, you may pay up to 2 Food less. [View playtest games] [View all dealt games] |

Probably strong enough without the bonus point. | Nov 28, 2012 12:06am [quote] |

not sure about that. Having a planted field is not an easy task. I will remove it if it proofs too strong, but I think its not stronger than for example this animal thing from Tom. | Nov 28, 2012 10:53pm [quote] |

Yours does have another significant difference. It allows a player to use the expensive Occ space for free while Tom's Lamp Oil does not. But you are right, we can adjust the point later after play testing. | Nov 28, 2012 11:46pm [quote] |

10 food is a lot but I don't think it's going to pay out that much every game. It is a steep pre-req too. I had harrow and Storehouse Keeper so I got 2 fields and 2 grain a little easier. |
Got 10f from this card. (saved 10f actually). I played it in round 7. Used it on 6 occs (2 of them on expensive space) and 2 minors.Dec 12, 2012 5:34am [quote] |

Neat. I like all design that encourages early plow and sow. | Jan 11, 2013 8:24pm [quote] |

having a planted field is certainly not harder than having 3 occupations. goose pond gives 4f + 1vp and its PWR is in the top 5 %. |
it would be good enough if it saved you 1 food instead of 2. having a planted field is trivial if you play a baking strategy. with this card it's worth to plant a field, just to save the food for your occs. Jan 16, 2013 4:27pm [quote] |
