Cost=2W, Vps=0, Prereq=1 Occupation Whenever you use the "Plow 1 Field" Action space, you may Plow 2 fields if they are not diagonally or orthogonally adjacent to each other instead of 1. [View playtest games] [View all dealt games] |

At the very least you should add a 3 Occ prereq. Or something else that delays this card from playing early and filing up your farm with fields. |
Way too strong. This is stronger than all the Plows in EIK. It is very easy to plow fields that are not orthogonally adjacent. Just place your first in the top right corner. Then plow 2; one left, one down. Do this over and over.Aug 6, 2010 9:50pm [quote] (Edit: Aug 6, 2010 9:51pm) |

I've added an Occ requirement, and removed the Plow/Sow ability. Compare with the Moldboard Plow. Yes, you can use this more than twice, but will you really want to? The ability to do so is more than made up for by the fact that you can't use this on your first plow. | Aug 7, 2010 5:29am [quote] (Edit: Aug 7, 2010 4:28pm) |

I still think we should restrict number of usages for all plows. (for this card, twice) Remember the funny thing for Stump-Jump Plow and Punner? |
Make the "Plow 1 Field" action space worths 2 VP after maxed field is powerful and unnecessary.Aug 8, 2010 3:45pm [quote] |

If I restrict the number of uses, I'd want to boost it in some other way, like re-including Plow/Sow. Of course, I don't think it's that powerful: No one seems to think the Plowmaker is a worldbeater. | Aug 8, 2010 3:55pm [quote] |

If i knew how it worked i would have used it 3+ times in my last game. As it was, i used it 3 times, but then i was told i was using it wrong, so i had to go back and remove a lot of fields. Then my fields weren't in the right position to use this plow more times. |
You could say, "Three times during the game, ..." No one should be allowed to use this more than three times. At 3 times, it gives you 3 free fields. That's enough of a pay out.Dec 8, 2010 8:40pm [quote] |

i guess i don't care if theres a limit to the number of times it's used. after using it 2x its value goes down quite a bit. and i like shorter text on cards. | Dec 8, 2010 8:45pm [quote] |

Do you mean " provided your two new fields are not orthogonally adjacent toeach other? Because they sort of have to be orthoganally adjacent to one of your previous fields ( if you have a previous field) so the card reads a bit like its impossible...... I agree that I should be able to work out that an impossible meaning isn't what you meant... but why make it hard for me |
