Place an Arrow marker on a revealed Round Action space and point the Arrow toward nobody. The next player to use this space receives 1 Stone. Whenever any player uses this Action space, point the Arrow toward that player. At the start of each round, the player whom the Arrow points toward receives 1 Wood. New owners of the Chisel cannot move the marker, correct? | Aug 9, 2010 12:32pm [quote] |

I wonder if people would hesitate to play this thinking that they will not receive the most benefit. Maybe you should add, "Whenever the Chisel changes owners, the original player of this card receives 1 Food". |
Wow! Very innovative idea!Aug 9, 2010 3:18pm [quote] (Edit: Aug 9, 2010 3:19pm) |

Where and when would be the best place to play this, I wonder. The prospect of future wood makes almost any spot look pretty good. I suppose if you were going to play it early, you'd put it on Fences or Sow/Bake, whichever you think you'll be ready to take, should someone snatch it from you... | Aug 9, 2010 5:37pm [quote] (Edit: Aug 9, 2010 5:40pm) |

Could be a pretty desirable and interesting card insofar as, you want to put it on a square you intend to take a lot and thus something you already have a 'combo' with, ie, you have two TP cards and want to pile on the combo-awesomeness of taking that square a lot, but then again, Chisel makes someone else much more likely to 'get in on your action' etc. reallllly interesting dynamic. | Aug 9, 2010 6:28pm [quote] |

Chris, I think the original owner should be happy enough to (probably) have the first few wood(s) and to have the choice of placing the marker where he thinks will be to his advantage. So, if he plays well, he will have at least a few woods more then the average of wood received by the competition, including the first wood(s), that is/are the most important. I think this is enough for a free minor. | Aug 10, 2010 11:32am [quote] |

Hm, although I like the concept, I think it's too strong. I mean, play this in round 1 and put it on fences or sow/bake and you'll get 6w for nothing in most games. Private Forest costs 2f and gives wood much slower. Perhaps add a cost of 2f too? | Aug 10, 2010 2:03pm [quote] |

Good point stijn. I never thought about putting it on sow/bake Aug 10, 2010 3:04pm [quote] |

Alternately, you could place a Marker on the spot, then give wood to whoever possesses the Marker. That way, you wouldn't get wood until you take the Marker yourself, meaning that if you put it on Sow/Bake, you'd better be ready to Sow and Bake. Of course, if you do that it might get back to Chris's question of whether you can be sure it will help you more than your enemy. | Aug 10, 2010 3:10pm [quote] |

No, this is not acceptable. The marker will not move. It's the main advantage of the owner of the card. Besides moving the marker would take time (to think). The marker stays where it is. | Aug 10, 2010 3:16pm [quote] |
