Playing with the same concept as my Bunk House http://play-agricola.com/Agricola/Cards/index.php?id=613

Edit 621-4. I think this should solve my wording problems. I can't think of any other "at the end of turn" cards, but it seems pretty clear to me. By triggering at the end of the turn, it should work even if you played it during that turn, but not if you played it on a different space after your renovation.

Old Text: "Whenever you place a family member on a "Renovation" action space (or already have a person on that space when you play Slapdash Renovation), you may return that family member to your farm after taking the renovation action."

New Text: "At the end of any turn during which you placed a person on a Renovation action space, you may return that person to your farm. It can take another action later in the round."

Interesting. So you are buying 2 additional actions for 1 Stone and 1 Clay. chris

Right. I'm trying to target high-priority actions, like Ren/Fence, where you'll need to use an early placement, and where not blocking the action is another liability to take into account. tacticus

I guess by design you can play it with renovation/imp and jump back?
quite useful for stone house strategy.

Yeah, I don't know how to word it clearly and concisely to make that crystal clear, but the idea is you can play it with reno/imp. tacticus

With the current text it doesn't work on reno space. The reno space is called "AFTER renovation, also improvement". So when you play this card, the renovation is finished. You either have to accept this has to be played before, or you have to specify otherwise. hala

I need a nice way to word it. I specified otherwise, but I'm not happy with the text. tacticus

how about this :

"Instead of using a family member from home, you may move one from a Renovation action space to take an action."

It'll be slightly stronger though, as you can play it with another action after renovating and it still works.

I want to force the player to move the peep off of renovation immediately, freeing it up right away for other players. I don't want to allow delaying until the last action of the round. Part of the idea of the card was balancing the extra action you get with the lack of blocking.

Other than that, I like your wording. One of the reasons I'm unhappy with the current wording, is that the clarifying parenthetical, which I stole from Clapper, could be read to allow this to work when you play SR with a later action in the round. That's not my intention.
