The idea here is that to combine a powerful FG engine with some risk and future forecasting. By forcing you to decide when you're going to grow in advance, it opens you up to room blocking and hopefully makes for a tough decision in terms of how aggressively you want to play it. Note, also, that you cannot take a regular FG action if all of your remaining unused family members are waiting on the board.

If people feel this is too strong, I had a similar idea, using unused family members as 1-round guest tokens on future rounds.		 tacticus

I like the 4, 7, 10 idea. Or Rounds 7, 10 and 13. Then there is a slight disadvantage because other people may be growing faster, but you would still get peeps in a reasonable time.
