In the returning home phase of each round, if you have at least 1 clay, you can use this card to discard all of your clay and get your choice of 3 food or 1 bonus point. [View playtest games] [View all dealt games] |

It's "or" not "and", IMO it's fine?(playable and not too strong) | Jan 9, 2015 11:54am [quote] |

There is nothing wrong with this card, even if it does do crazy things with the clay deliveryman. Bear in mind that you can't use it and keep clay from round to round making it a fair card. | Jan 9, 2015 11:56am [quote] |

This combos with Wm Wheelbarrow Pusher strongly. | Jul 13, 2015 12:35am [quote] |

You can't return the same resources for both cards. You can return all your clay during the returning home phase for Jug Baker, then if you still have resources left, return the rest of them for a Salvager point. | Aug 23, 2015 8:27pm [quote] (Edit: Aug 23, 2015 8:28pm) |

I can't think of a reason why you couldn't trigger both cards by returning just 1 clay. Using words like "convert" instead of "return" would make it clearer. The precedent is already there with Fr deck March - does March combo with Benefactor or Tenant Farmer? |

There's a big difference between a cost ("return X to the supply to do Y") and a trigger ("whenever you return X, then do Y"). If one of these was phrased as a trigger, then they would combo. March does not combo with Benefactor or Tenant Farmer in the way that you are suggesting. The precedent is definitely not there. |
It seems pretty clear. Returning the resources is a cost. Just because two different effects have a similar cost, doesn't mean you can get two for the price of one. Aug 24, 2015 6:53pm [quote] (Edit: Aug 24, 2015 7:03pm) |
