G2occ-3CowboyYou can use the "Take 1 Sheep", "Wild boar" or "Cattle" Action spaces even if they are occupied. If you do this, take 1 animal of that type. Additionally, you can keep 2 animals of the same type on 1 of your Unused farmyard spaces. (The space still counts as unused.)0agentricola[26 Comments]

I like this. The storage could be useful right in the beginning of the game to get some spare food, and the actual action could be very nice in round 14 to make sure you get boars / cattle. unknown198176188

I love this concept. Would be great in a Constable game. I assume it would combo with other cards -- Swineherd, Cow Herder, Sheep Farmer, Animal Dealer? agrigal

Can you use an animal space again, even if you were the first one to use it? Can you place a third person on an animal space, even if you already placed a second one on it?

Right now i would be inclined to say yes from your text but i dont think it should work that way just in case you build a stupid broken combo.

Suggested cleaner text (including the proposed clarification/change above):

You can use the "Sheep", "Wild boar" or "Cattle" action spaces, even if another player has already placed a person on it. Take 1 animal of that type if you do this. In addition you can keep 2 animals on one of your unused farmyard spaces.

Other things that might need cleanup:
- Can you have 2 different animals on that farmyard space?
- You can keep 2 animals on exactly 1 farmyard space, right? You can not keep 2 animals per space on as many unused farmyard spaces as you want, right?

I think it would be nice if it also allowed you to take the "sheep/boar/cattle" space in 5ers when it isn't occupied. kimball

This is a sneaky little occupation for the start, when you can snatch up 3 Sheep without having to have a cooking device. Breeding is set up and can help feeding throughout and it is an easy 2 point move at the end of the game.

I think this card is fine as is but it needs a better text like zlorfik mentioned earlier:

You can use the "Sheep", "Wild boar" and "Cattle" action spaces, even if another player has already placed a person on it. Take 1 animal of that type, if you do this. You can keep 2 animals of the same type on one of your unused farmyard spaces.

Changed "or" to "and", because you can use different spaces in the same round. Scratched "in addition", because i don't feel the need for those 2 words, added animals of the same type, because that's what I think should be done.

Changing this to zlorfik's text is a good idea, but it raises another weird question, really an extension of the Understudy/Freeloader questions here: http://play-agricola.com/forums/index.php?topic=2204.30

What would happen with zlorfik's text and Understudy?

Does zlorfik's text prevent someone from using "Take Cattle" twice? If player A puts his person on it, then I, player B can also. Then for my next turn, i will observe that "Take Cattle" has another person's peep on it, so i will again use the space. Etc, etc. It doesn't look like Understudy is required.

Head of Family says i can use FG if "another player has placed a person on it". What does the compendium say about me using the space twice? If peep A is on the space and i put my peep B on the space. Can i place my second peep on the space? (so the space will have A,B,B on it)

I agree. All of HoF, Field Warden, and Helper say "another player". These types of cards are not meant for you to take the spot over and over yourself.
