When you play this card, you immediately get 1 wood. Each time you play an occupation after this one, you get 1 wood for each food paid as occupation cost. [View playtest games] [View all dealt games] |

i don't like immediate effects on cards. it would be weaker but still working without it, i suggest to remove it. the wood gained is still compareable to other wood cards. | Feb 16, 2016 10:12pm [quote] |

According to what was posted in the forums, "immediate effects on cards" are Uwe's solution to balance issues. In other words, he comes up with an effect, if the effect is weak then he gives 1w or 2w or 2f or 1g when it is played. |

yes i read this and it's a very bad approach in my oppinion. i will also post it on the forum when i'm done going through all the cards here. basicly my oppinion hasn't changed since 3 years ago here:Feb 17, 2016 10:25pm [quote] |

This card, for example, would be so much better if it said: "Each time you play an occupation (including this one) you receive 1 wood per food paid for the occupation cost." The effect is almost identical, but the card is purer. |
I'm coming around more to Letsdance's thinking on this issue. While it's nice to be able to fine-tune the power in order to keep fun effects, it's starting to get out of hand. So many cards in T deck give a 1w kickback that it's a little embarrassing. Feb 18, 2016 2:37am [quote] (Edit: Feb 18, 2016 2:37am) |
