Each time you use the "Fishing" accumulation space, you can also pay 1 wood to get 1 food for each person you have, and 1 reed. [View playtest games] [View all dealt games] |

This card essentially turns 1 wood into 1 reed and gains food = to family size. In addition, it collects all the food on fishing. Every time I have played the revised game, the player with this card has won. We have decided to ban this card. |
This card seems insanely strong--especially in the revised game where the power of the occupations has been toned down.Jun 2, 2018 3:19pm [quote] |

When I started playing AG2, I would have agreed with you. But I've gotten a lot better since then and completely disagree now. If you over-harpoon, you'll lose out on a ton of wood tempo and spend a lot of moves taking a usually weak action. You also have a ton of useless reed unless you buy BMW. If the other players aren't punishing the Harpooner for that, then of course it's powerful. It is overdrafted and a losing card according to site stats:Jun 3, 2018 4:19am [quote] (Edit: Jun 3, 2018 4:20am) |
