Cost=none, Vps=0, Prereq=1 empty Field Immediately return 1 empty field to the general supply to fence a single farmyard space (in the same or different space). (Normal fencing rules still apply.) You do not need to pay Wood for the fences. [View playtest games] [View all dealt games] |

this is a really nice card. (comment from Glengarry @work) |
I like this as well. You might consider a pre-requisite of one field, and just say "Return one plowed field to the supply and fence that space for free." It might be necessary or wise to mention something like "Your fences must still be legal."Aug 28, 2010 1:00pm [quote] (Edit: Aug 28, 2010 1:01pm) |

thx, added your last sentence. | Aug 28, 2010 3:04pm [quote] |

Since there is no exception specified, it is automatically understood that the fences must comply the norms. The prerequisite is also unnecessary, since you cannot return a plowed field if you don't have any plowed fields. | Aug 28, 2010 3:06pm [quote] |

I think you are right, Hala. If this card ever gets published, we will probably edit out the last sentence. But for testing it adds clarity, especially when an active member like Glengarry has his doubts. | Aug 29, 2010 2:32am [quote] |

i think the sentence about legal fences should be kept. | Jan 4, 2011 4:48am [quote] |

Is it ok to fence the exact space where the field was? As a passing minor it would reduce the playability for other players but so are other traveling cards as well. | Jan 4, 2011 5:19am [quote] |

that's true. it would be better to just remove one field and fence one space (similar to the "changing plans" passing minor). in that case the sentence about legal fences can be skipped because its obvious (or should be). | Jan 5, 2011 7:11am [quote] |

Changed card to make it more playable for other players after it hits the table. | Jan 5, 2011 8:53am [quote] |
