Once during Round 14, you may use an Action space even if it is occupied by other players. If you play this card in Round 7 or before, you may do this twice instead. [View playtest games] [View all dealt games] |

As the player of this card, you see how it can be beneficial. You can accumulate a lot of goods during the game, and then safely build everything in Round 14. |
Its kinda like HoF, Field Warden, Helper, and others all in one but only for Round 14. (Edit: removed:I added the prereq of Stage 1 or 2, so your opponents have time to adapt their strategies against you since they can no longer block you in Round 14.)Sep 3, 2010 11:07am [quote] (Edit: Sep 3, 2010 11:39am) |

I would never play this in round 1 or 2 just to get one good move in round 14. The card would be situational but slightly weak without this prerequisite. I find myself uninterested to play field warden sometimes. | Sep 3, 2010 11:29am [quote] |

Yeah, I say remove the prerequisite. It's not strong enough to merit early play, since there's a good chance it's not really worth your effort when Round 14 comes around. Also, hidden information is fun. Springing this as your last-round surprise is much less annoying than springing Braggart. | Sep 3, 2010 11:36am [quote] (Edit: Sep 3, 2010 11:40am) |

Quote from: hala on Sep 3, 2010 11:29am just to get one good move in round 14. Its not 1 good move, it could be 5 good moves. You can use this ability as much as you want Round 14. So you are guarenteed to "Plow/Sow", "FG without room", "Reno/fence", "Major/Minor", whatever. Quote from: hala on Sep 3, 2010 11:29am The card would be situational but slightly weak without this prerequisite. I disagree. You can make this card part of your strategy. You can enter Round 14 with a 4 room clay house, 3 fields, 23 wood, 4 stone, 1 reed, 2 veg, 3 grain, 4 person family. Then you plow, plow/sow, reno/fence, fg w/out room, and build stables! This would give you 31 VPs that round and was unblockable and no one saw it coming because you can play Comedian your last move in round 13! With Animals in your home (Animal Tamer) and a few Improvements, you would have over 20VPs before round 14 so you would finish with over 50VPs. UPDATE: I clarified the text so it is clear you can use this ability MANY times in round 14. Also i removed the prereq. |

interesting idea. i'll vote it up and see if it can get tested. |
when i read the name, i thought it would be a TP card for sure.Sep 3, 2010 6:16pm [quote] |

The card is ok now but the name should be saved for a TP card, as hunter said. | Sep 4, 2010 2:50am [quote] |

Remarkable, it lets you take 5 actions with 4 family members! Without the prerequisite, I do think it will be a nice, strong card. In the scenario you've just described, though, you're likely to get about 2 of those actions even without this card. |

i don't like the idead, and i think its overpowered alot. the card that lets you use occupied renovation actions is mostly usable in round 14 (only) and this card is much better. suggestions for balancing: pay 1f every time you take an already occupied action. or pay the food to the (each) player who occupies it. |
only my family members can use occupied actions. what about guests? (we had a similar question lately with an X-deck card)Dec 22, 2010 8:08am [quote] |

Any card that lets you use occupied spaces; Helper, Head of the Family, Field Warden, Free Loader, etc. gives you at least 3 good uses. And so does this card. I think it is balanced. You make a good point about the "Family member" vs. "People" thing. |
There is no card that only lets you use occupied "Renovation" spaces. G Deck has the Helper: "You can use any "Renovate", "Build room(s)", or "Major Improvement" Action space, even if another player has already placed a person on it."Dec 22, 2010 8:19am [quote] |
