Each time you use a "Fences" action on an action space, you may build up to 3 fences for free. (The normal fencing rules still apply. Those action spaces appear in Stage 1 and Stage 6.)		 chris

Now I see there are cards in Artifex, J2, and C/D which provide "Build Fences" actions that don't come from the two action spaces. Hedge Keeper should apply in combination with cards that provide "Build Fences" actions by other means.

For your information. The cards providing a "Build Fences" action in Artifex, C- and D-deck:
Stagehand(Artifex) and Field Fences(C deck).

...and Millwright(D-deck. not English but German version) has the condition that you take a "Build Fence" action.
