A more playable holiday house, also a good combo for holiday house. | Sep 5, 2010 5:44am [quote] |

Yes. Thumb up from me. The prerequisite is 4 occupationS. And you are right, this is the first card that really combos with Holiday House. | Sep 5, 2010 7:28am [quote] (Edit: Sep 5, 2010 10:52am) |

Quote from: ss on Sep 5, 2010 5:44am A more playable holiday house, also a good combo for holiday house. Much more playable. Even too playable for my liking. For only 3 points less you save 5 building resources and your FIRST 1 to 3 actions in round 14. Thats worth a lot more then 3 points to me. I agree that Holiday House is a bad card but this card looks too good to me. |

but you say too good, + it dont have an early effect (no need to pump to 4 occp to play this early), so even 4 occp prereq might not help alot in reducing it strength. bit or less, i agree that its abit too good. so which change voter like? or suggest one? 1. occp prereq -1, vp -1 2. add cost (food cost?) 3. play at the latest of round 11 or 12. (you might need a better planning for early play) 4. no occp preq, 5vp, place 3 less peep. (you can/cannot play it when you have 2 peep?)(not quite suit the name also) |
first of all, i think a 4 occupations card deserve a bit better in strength. (holiday house dont have a occp prereq)Sep 25, 2010 4:09am [quote] (Edit: Sep 25, 2010 10:38pm) |

but in math, it 2+1/2 action for 5vp, avg 2vp/action, pretty normal and still in a acceptable range right? |
but i do wan to remind you guyz that if you were to compare this card to holiday house, i would say it definitely a better card.Sep 25, 2010 10:44pm [quote] (Edit: Sep 25, 2010 10:45pm) |

Having your LAST 2 peeps take 2 point actions in the last round will rarely happen. So in my eyes this card makes it too easy to have an all-around good farm and still get premium points for your last peeps. I prefer your solution nr. 1 for now. Make it only 4 points and 3 occ prerequisite. I think it would still be a fine card and way better then holiday house. |
An action that gives you 2 points in the last round is a very fine action. Normally you have to emphasize one area of point plays (most likely improvements, but could also be animals or plow/sow) to be able to have 2 point plays in another area.Sep 26, 2010 2:12am [quote] |

Or something like that... I like the card as is, too, just presenting options. |
You could make this playable whenever you want by changing the language a bit. "In the Returning Home phase of the round in which this card was played place two active Family members on this card. They cannot be used in the following round as they are on a Honeymoon."Sep 29, 2010 4:02pm [quote] |
