G2occ-1Bee KeeperWhen you play this card, immediately build 1 stable without paying Wood and place it on its side. This stable loses its regular animal functions. (It is still worth 1 additional point if fenced.) In the Feeding phase of each Harvest, you receive 1 Food as long as the stable is on your farm.0braggart[58 Comments]

I think this card is too strong. If you play it first round, you could get 13 food at no cost. goatpig

Still, you will get most of it. And yes, at no cost, filling up spaces has its own advantages. goatpig

I have to agree with goatpig. Compared with other food-giving occupations, this one seems like too easily pay out 13 food.

Foreman, for instance, gives exactly the same amount of food, but only if you play it in Round 1 and use it very carefully (and get a bit lucky). Foreman is a good example because I think it's exactly the level of power I like to shoot for: strong, but not dominant.

At the weaker end of the EIK spectrum, Maid and Weaver both are limited to less than 13 food total, usually significantly less.

You should make it clear that the stable can't hold animals. I think it would be ok to fence it, but so long as it doesn't work like a normal stable.

This is certainly in the more acceptable range of power, though slightly on the weak side, probably. 1 point and 6 food.

You should reset the votes.

The card is definitely weaker now, fairer. I like it. You don't need to mention the bit about the beehive, but you should say something about whether there can be animals in the same pasture, but not the same farmyard space.

To reset votes, click on "edit", and then, above the card, it will say, "reset votes to zero".

Can anyone please help me with the text? I need to clarify the next things:

-the stable can be fenced, and if it, it counts as fenced stable for points
-it can contain other animals in the pasture but it doesn't double the capacity of the pasture

Your help would be appreciated!

Firstly I would like to say this is a great idea.

How about converting a stable as a requirement, and giving is a bonus point.

Occs dont operate with requirements.

"When you play this card, immediately build 1 stable for free. This stable loses its regular function but is still worth 1 additional point if fenced. In the feeding phase of each harvest, you reveive 1 food."

Text inspired by Emergency Housing from the O deck but changed the word original to regular since the stable is build by the card.

nice card.

part of me like the name, "Bee Keeper" better. i think that's more tangible to the average person (although less educational as well). probably doesn't matter much.
