Garden Designer (occ-1+) At the start of scoring, you can place food in your empty fields. You get 1/2/3 bonus point for each such field in which you place 1/4/7 food.

This will be very strong with those other cards where you harvest veggies for vps. Probably a decent card otherwise. Maybe disallow converting crops just harvested into food also?

If I have 4 empty fields and 7 food, presumably I can put 4 on one field and 1 in each of the other 3 for a total of 5 points. But I can't find any other example of an AG2 card that lets you simultaneously activate dashes. In fact, it's obvious from certain cards that you cannot. obviously if there are 3 rounds left to play there is also at least 1 round left to play but you still don't get 2+1 wood for playing this in round 11. Or where if you have at least 4 unplanted you don't also score for having a least 2 unplanted.
So I guess you must put the same number if food in each field to score for this card.

No. You're overthinking it. Slashes basically stand for "__ or __ or ..., respectively." And the word "each" on Garden Designer seems to say each field should be scored separately according to the rates.Quote from: nwoll on Dec 23, 2019 4:35pm

There's a significant difference in meaning when "for each" is involved...

Yeah, I'm with Lumin. The examples he posted also make it extremely clear that you can treat each field as independently operating under one of the slashes. It is also by far the more reasonable interpretation on the card.
