4 stables on a 4 space pasture -] 8*2*2*2*2=128 capacity.

What is a pasture with highest capacity if not compared with others?
Is a single-square pasture with 4 fences and 1 stable at highest capacity?

If you are mixing original EIK cards with new ABCD cards (as one of my local groups does,) it is up to you how to interpret. Forest Pasture won't be reprinted in AG2. I'd think based on precedent from Organic Farmer that Forest Pasture would auto-win this card.

You are correct about the wording. I believe the theoretical max capacity is over 400, though. See the example from Firnefex above to see how the number gets big quickly.
