It also makes the card slightly harder to play in anticipation of future use.		 lumin

Update: Further comment... Imagine a card that has "1 sown field" in the prerequisite section. We could not play the Minor Improvement if we didn't have a sown field. A prerequisite is just that - emphasis on the PRE. How can a player play this minor with a family member still in the house?		 wallfly

After FG and 1 minor improvement action space. Do you not place your person there? So if it was 2nd action, (and 1st FG) are there people still in the home? You got it wrong, it just means "use it with your last person" because the action space that let you play the minor with your last person leaves your home empty.
That is also different from Carriage Trip where you need 1 more person left to play it in order to place the additional one.

If you manage to get 5 rooms early, that card boosts your family to 5 very quickly, but without support and the exclusion of stage 1 it should be ok.		 firnefex
